whym blog: ウィキメディア財団で研究インターンをする：その3 ビザ、住まいの準備

前回書いたようにインターンとしての採用決定は4月上旬でした。開始日は6月上旬と決まり、それまでの期間にはいろいろと準備がありました。2ヶ月というと余裕があるようにも思えますが、実際にはビザと家探しなど意外に時間のかかる作業があったり、手続きについて調べなければならなかったりで、けっこうな時間を費やしたと思います。住居についても、紆余曲折があり難航しました。
